PLN - Primary - Language Learning Today Training programme

Professional Learning Network is running a training programme for Primary language teachers and coordinators in response to local need and based on the Programme of Study in MFL.  They represent an opportunity to share and enhance our current practice as Language teachers focussing on the key skills which enable pupils to become more autonomous and confident linguists.  These support and development sessions will take place over four afternoons from September 2014. 

Programme Dates and times:

Each session will start at 1.30 pm and close at 3.30 pm.

• Wednesday 22nd October 2014 - Accelerating Language Learning through Phonics - 
• Wednesday 26th November 2014 - Story telling and how to improve reading and writing skills 
• Wednesday 14th January 2015 - On our way to independent learning 
• Wednesday 25th March 2015 - Mind your language! How to improve speaking and spontaneous talk in the target language
