PLN - Secondary - NQT Conferences 2014-2015

The conferences for NQTs in Secondary Schools, are personalised to meet the needs of the NQTs.

Last Year’s topics included:

• Voice Training
• Behaviour management
• Ensuring progress in phonics and literacy
• Challenge and engagement
• Strategies to engage and motivate
• Pedagogy

These sessions will provide opportunities for delegates to:

• Extend their learning
• Develop their understanding of teaching and learning
• Develop professional relationships with colleagues from other schools.

Conference Dates, Times and Venues:

Each session will start at 4.30pm and close at 6.30pm

• Session 1 - Monday 22nd  September
• Session 2 - Tuesday 4th  November
• Session 3 - Thursday 15th  January  
• Session 4 – Wednesday 18th March
• Session 5 – Monday 11th May
• Session 6 –Tuesday 7th July 

Venue:

Honywood Community Science School, Westfield Drive, Coggeshall, CO6 1PZ

Programme cost 

• PLN Members - £150 for six conferences (£30 for a single conference)
• Non members - £300 for six conferences (£55 for a single conference)
• Non members registered with PLN appropriate Body (20% discount) - £240 for six conferences (£44 for a single conference)
